Telecommunications at the speed of light |
Gigared is a fully integrated telecommunications provider serving the Republic of Argentina. Services provisioned include broadband Internet, digital and analog cable television, telephony, co-location, hosting and point-to-point data transmission. Gigared provisions domestic services in four major markets via a proprietary, fiber-rich hybrid fiber-coaxial (HFC) network. The HFC network in each domestic market is interconnected via a 1,100 kilometer, proprietary fiber optic Long-Haul network. The integrated HFC and Long-Haul networks are controlled through a carrier-grade Data Center located in Buenos Aires, the communications nexus for Argentina. Gigared provisions international services and achieves critical network redundancy through interconnections at its Data Center, Long Haul network access points and HFC network Hubs. The Gigared network is unique to the market in terms of design, robustness, control and scalability. Fiber-rich, end-to-end connectivity from the subscriber premise to major ILEC, CLEC and Internet interconnection points insures reliability and exceptional service quality. With over 100 years of combined telecommunications experience, Gigared's owner-managers are committed to providing the best value-to-cost proposition in market. |
